The colours were dull and too dark. Images placed centrally though which is where other companies have failed.

Response:
We contacted the customer to try and resolve the perceived issues but have had no response.
We match the colours as closely as possible to those we see on our calibrated screens, viewed under daylight bulbs, and are satisfied with the order we sent out.
It is worth bearing in mind that a printed card is unlikely to feel as bright as a picture on a backlit screen, especially when many devices use software (retina display etc) to artificially increase the vibrancy and brightness of an image. Many other factors also play a big part in our perception of colour, remember THAT dress?
